Born in Busan, Korea and adopted by Canadians, Tae Hauk grew up listening to hip-hop OG’s, studying the lyrical prowess of Nas and the production techniques of Kanye West. At 17, Hauk self-produced his first EP. A month later, Hauk would organize his first performance, selling out 250 tickets.
At 18, Hauk went viral for his single “THE PROBLEM” attracting millions to his social media
for his brutally honest assessment of addiction, corruption, and climate change.
